Optimist Soccer Developement Skills Academy
Kids ages 5 to 11 years old

The Optimist Youth Soccer Program is proud to announce the addition of our Optimist Soccer Development Skills Academy. The Academy is coached by licensed coaches and offers  each child the opportunity to learn more about soccer in a fun  environment. The Sessions will last 6 weeks at Jefferson Middle School beginning March 12th and ending April 23rd.   Each Session will run a total of 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

The Academy will consist of the following skills enhancement sessions.

• Basic Techniques of Dribbling and Ball Handling Skills
• Dribbling and Possession Control
• Proper Passing  and Recieving Skills
• Shooting
• Attacking the Ball 1 vs 1
• Attacking and Possesion Control with 1 vs 1, 2 vs 2 and 3 vs 3 (Focus will be on a combination of all previous sessions)

A final evaluation of each player will be given to parents at the end of the 6 week session.

A registration Fee of $60.00 is needed for the 6 week Academy.
